Built out a tier-one solar manufacturer's rework team — 100+ workers staffed into the factory

Stood up the rework operation at a tier-one solar manufacturer in DFW — 100+ workers placed across production, materials, QC, and shipment teams, technical and non-technical roles both, in the weeks the factory needed them.

The situation

A tier-one solar manufacturer in DFW needed to spin up the rework workflow fast — production, materials handling, QC, and shipment all had to staff up simultaneously to keep panels moving without choking the main line. Standard staffing channels couldn't move on the volume or the multi-function specialization required.

What we did

  1. 01

Engaged plant leadership and team leads across production, materials, QC, and shipment to scope role profiles, shift coverage, and quality standards for each function before any sourcing began.

  2. 02

Sourced candidates through trusted operator networks in the region — technical hires (QC inspectors, line engineers) and non-technical hires (production operators, materials handlers, shipment staff) — screening for hands-on experience and reliability rather than just headcount.

  3. 03

Onboarded and deployed 100+ workers across the four functions and across shifts, with ongoing coordination to backfill attrition and scale up as production volume demanded.

Outcome

Rework throughput met plan within the engagement window — production, materials, QC, and shipment all ran at planned headcount. The staffing motion became a repeatable template the manufacturer could draw on for subsequent ramp cycles.
